We used their conference facilities one evening and were very happy with the quality of service from staff. The hotel was clean and well-presented and the room hire deal we got was good value for money. Some delegates and other guests made comment about expensive food of poor quality, so that may be something for the hotel to address. I was also surprised to find that parking was an extra charge.
The staff are very friendly, professional and attentive. The rooms are clean and spacious. The decor could do with a little modernization but it's by no means terrible or badly dated. The food is OK, but strikes me as being frozen fare (the Chicago Town Pizza's certainly are) cooked in the oven, but costing 3 times as much as a supermarket. There is a beer garden and gym, so facilities are pretty good, though no satellite TV in the bedrooms. Overall, I have enjoyed my stays here and would recommend the hotel to anyone staying in the Cheltenham area.
The staff are so very friendly. The decor of the rooms is a bit dated, but nevertheless it was a very enjoyable experience.
Expensive, restrictive times to eat means I will miss breakfast, pay to park, mouldy windows, dated furniture and dated overall feel. A bit depressing.
