Cheap hotel, but good location and the staff was very nice and helpful. Definitely a good bet if you just need a place to sleep.
Boyfriend and I booked a Suite for the night, upon arrival the reception smelt of stale alcohol, receptionist seemed confused and flustered. Parking was unclear and we had to park around the back of the hotel which seemed unsafe and ran down. They have a secure underground car park which guests could pay to use, but we still had to pay £5 to park in an alley way. Our room was acceptable but the shower door was broken and the toilet seat was un secure. Room was cold with only two heaters to heat quite a large room. The bathroom door was made of frosted glass which isn't ideal if your not the closest of couples. Breakfast was of a typical standard, nothing out of the ordinary.
Friendly staff good value amazing room
Great location in the centre of town down a little side street. Well priced given the location. Room included: TV (incl. sky sports), hairdrier, kettle, coffee, towels, small amount of body wash in a sachet. Bizarrely clinical decor made it feel like visiting the dentist. Not very well maintained or cleaned - bit grimy, & we found a previous visitor's cake bar down the side of a table. For some reason our room had a glass sliding door for the bathroom which was neither sound proof nor light proof. Overall OK, just a bit weird.
positive: nice staff, clean room, fresh decor and bedding etc. Negative: limited parking so arrive early. Room was cold on arrival but warmed up quickly.
