Great hotel. Was very reasonable price and close to train station. The room was clean and very quiet. The staff was very polite and helpful. I would recommend this to anybody traveling in or out by train.
Good value for money. Breakfast was good. Fair speed, free Internet and friendly staff. Not the biggest room or bed but not unreasonably small.
Stayed here for 3 weeks in 2003. It was just fine back then. Nice staff, clean rooms, and I liked the continental breakfast each morning (the instant cocoa packets were the best! chocolat chaud et des croissants - yum!), although it only ran until 10:30 am - not much time for sleeping in - and then no more food there at all at any point - but that was back in 2003... :-) I don't know how it is now, but back then there wasn't any air conditioning in our room and it was June and hot. BUT, our windows opened up to the very pretty courtyard and the hotel gave us a boxfan to put in, which made it much more comfortable, and it cooled off nicely at night. It is budget, but it's good and right across the street from a well-connected metro stop. There was great shopping at little food places in every direction, cafes, a little grocery store about half mile down the road, very nice walks and a cyber cafe a few blocks away (they may have internet there at the hotel, though, by now...). I'd stay there again.
This hotel is perfect for those who want value for money, do not want to spend an arm and a leg but want cleanliness and comfort. I cannot fault this hotel. The only thing is that the room could have been slightly bigger but did not take away from my experience. Bathroom was bright and clean, no unexpected guests or grimey corners. The biggest plus was that it is right next to the Metro. I give hotel a 9.5 out of 10.
Am I the only one to notice that all "8" of these "so-called" reviews occurred on the same date and most were from a person named Annette? This stinks.
