Beds weren't too comfy, but the location and view was astounding
For me, central location is most important factor of all, Jurys Inn is therfore my No1 choice in Edinburgh City centre, next it's website presence and offering and again they are up there. They do all he other usual service and value stuff you'd expect too.
Staff very helpful. Fairly central. Entrance to Waverley station just down the street
An absolutely brilliant hotel,my family and I couldn't fault it.was comfortable, clean and friendly, brilliant location it was exactly what we needed for our week in Edinburgh!
I stayed at this hotel three years ago, for the first and last time. There was no plug in the basin and the breakfast was tepid to cold (in the case of the sausage). But worst of all was the sleep experience. My room was on the station side of the building and in the very early morning small, noisy trains began to clatter around. I was there in early September so the night in this northern city was very short and the room had no means of keeping out the light. I later learnt that the building was a converted office building so there was no double glazing. No double glazing in a room beside a mainline railway station! I agree with the customer who likened this to a third-world experience.
