Fantastic location and very central in George street - rooms looking a bit tired and could do with being modernised
Stayed there for a night, nice big room, very nice, clean bathroom. TV was OK.. Breakfast was great they have an automatic pancake machine!!!
Fantastic hotel could not do enough for you highly recommend
Visit with caution. Been here a couple of times and it best to get it straight exactly where you are staying as some rooms can be noisy ( next to exit stairs ETC) , terrible views and a little tired. Although the hotel was done up the general workmanship is terrible. Not had a good experience with the staff either. We waited for 30 minutes to check in on the last visit. While the story of the check in girls drunken night out was interesting for the first minute, the five minutes was tedious. It is a common venue for weddings and parties so so good to ask just in case your looking for a more relaxed experience
Great location, but that's about as good as it gets. We arrived on a Sunday evening and the front desk staff kept us waiting for a long time to find our booking and sort out a room. The room itself was mediocre at best. Everything poorly laid out, e.g. a tiny TV miles away from the bed, and pretty drab decor. They still charge for wifi (who does that any more?) and the final touch was an iron chained to the ironing board, as if I'm going to run off with their iron. Just felt quite miserly.
