Nice clean Hotel.

Although I came for business travel I enjoyed the central location of the hotel that is in walking distance to many restaurants and shops. The receptionists have been very friendly, the rooms pretty large and clean and the hotel internet wi-fi connection has been the fastest I ever had in a hotel. It was going up to 82 Mbps!

The Maldron Hotel Parnell Square is a nice hotel in a central location in Dublin. I'm not sure about parking, but the hotel is about half a mile from the Aircoach bus stop on O'Connell Street - the staff can get you a map. It also means it is near the centre of town and all transport links. I had a good room, large, big bed, all the usual tv, air-con etc. It had a free wired ethernet broadband connection but no wifi in the rooms - I sneakily got a free wifi adaptor off ebay for about £20 to allow me to use my gadgets. I had noted that free wifi was advertised but this is only on the lobby. The staff are nice and provide all relevant information and room cleaning. There are also free safes (if available) at reception, and they have a luggage holding service for those who need luggage storage after a check out time. The only thing I would not recommend is breakfast - there is a discount for buying a voucher the night before but I think you can get a better breakfast for cheaper outside. I would say this is a nice hotel for a wee trip, and the rooms are very nice. Recommend

Maldron Hotel Parnell Square is located in Dublin's city center close to O'Connell street. We found a well sized room. Cleanness was okay, but could have been better. We found some hair and little spots in the bedclothes. The staff was friendly. There is free instant coffee, tea and wired (!) internet at the room. Free wifi is only available in the lobby. “All you can eat Irish breakfast” can be booked for 8,50 Euro which is okay since all the breakfast you will find in the city is between 8 and 15 Euro. You can reach all the important sights by foot. The connection to public transport and all tour buses (if you want to see something outside of Dublin) is very good as well. If you arriving/leaving by plain use the 747 airlink bus to/from O'Connell street (a round-trip ticket is 10 Euro). It is just a short 5 minute walk from the hotel to O'Connell street and a 15 minutes walk to the city's party district Temple Bar. Overall it was a good value and we would stay there again.
